October Newsletter

Dear Brothers, Sisters and Volunteers:

‘The seed is the word of God.’     (Luke 8:11)

We give thanks to our Heavenly Father that, after Typhoon Ragasa no major issues arose during the renovation of the CWVIP in Shek Kip Mei location. Though storms raged outside, we were able to weather this difficult period safely in the Lord’ s embrace. May all glory be to the Lord!

Recently, we visited a visually impaired who have listening to the gospel through a Christian radio station over thirty years ago, had remained inconsistent in his faith. Though he had heard the message of God’s love and salvation, he had persistently doubted his own beliefs. During our visit , we were privileged to share the truth of the gospel with him. In that moment, he stood up to accept Christ as his Saviour. His tone and body language radiated peace and joy, as if a heavy burden had been lifted from his heart. Heavenly Father, through this visually impaired man’s testimony, once again reminds us that no matter how long the journey of faith may be, as long as there is a longing in the heart, God’s love will ultimately reach every person.

You are cordially invited to join the ‘Walking together Monthly Donation Scheme’ to support the production of spiritual books and audiobooks by CMVIP and to care for the visually impaired who live alone. At present, CMVIP’s monthly recurrent expenditure is as high as $200,000 and the regular monthly donation is only $16,000 per month. We are in dire need of your support to continue the ministry and to help more visually impaired people in need. We sincerely appeal to every brother and sister to make a donation of $5 per day, which is only $150 per month, to help promote the gospel work of CMVIP. Your support will bring love and hope to the visually impaired. (For further details, please contact the Cmvip’s accounting department)

Ministry Needs and Prayers:
1. Please pray for the renovation works at Shek Kip Mei centre. The project is now more than halfway complete, and we plan to relocate our offices from San Po Kong back to Shek Kip Mei by late October or early November. Pray for our preparatory work and the entire relocation process, asking the Lord to grant our staff wisdom and discernment, and to protect them from harm.
2. Please continue praying for CMVIP regular operating expenses. May the Heavenly Father move more brothers and sisters to support CMVIP through the ‘Walking together Monthly Donation Scheme’.

If you have any enquiry, please feel free to contact us at 2777 7762 or visit

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
AMEN !

May God’s grace overflow in your life!
