Dear Brothers, Sisters and Volunteers:
`Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy’ (1Peter 1:8) NIV
Doubt and fear often invade our hearts when facing difficulties. Peter encourages us that although we cannot see Jesus with our physical eyes, the Holy Spirit allows us to see Him with our spiritual eyes. Through faith in the Lord, we love Him with all our heart, soul and mind, trusting and following Him. In spite of the great challenges that CMVIP is facing, we are confident in God’s guidance.
Praise the Lord, “CMVIP VOICE” developed by the CMVIP and ICON was awarded the Gold Award (Android and IOS) respectively in the 2024-2025 Digital Accessibility Award Scheme, organized by Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited. We would like to thank the organization and the public for the recognition of this app. We have been continuously improving the accessibility elements in the past two years and striving to achieve digital inclusion so that the visually impaired can listen to various contents more conveniently and quickly, and we hope that through this platform, our visually impaired members can be nourished spiritually and be renewed and transformed by the Word of God.
Ministry Needs and Prayers:
- Please pray for the renovation of CMVIP. The Housing Department has been repairing ceiling spatting, replacing leaking sewage pipes, and installing fire sprinkler hoses throughout the center. The renovation work will start in June. We ask for your support and prayers.
- Please bearin mind that CMVIP is planning to broadcast the Hong Kong Bible Conference from 1st to 10th August, we have to verify the braille procedure checking, braille printing and also need to estimate the mailing time, so that the visually impaired can participate in the annual spiritual gathering on the broadcast network of CMVIP!
- Please pray for the preparation of the Fok Kwong Fellowship Summer Camp in July. Pray that God will prepare suitable speakers and activities so that the participants will be edified in the camp.
- Please continue to pray for CMVIP’s regular expenses and ask our Heavenly Father to move more brothers and sisters to make regular contributions to our center.
- Please pray for the INFO TALK text-to-speech (TTS) system currently used by CMVIP. Pray that the developer company would improve the functionality of this tool according to the needs of our visually impaired co-workers.
