February Newsletter

Dear Brothers, Sisters and Volunteers :
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. “ (Psalms 20:7)
As we step into 2026, we thank God for the grace and guidance He has provided over the past year, and we look forward to experiencing His presence and blessings in our various ministries in the coming year.
As the Lunar New Year approaches, within Chinese culture the horse symbolizes status, capability and speed, embodying not only success but also the pursuit of excellence. Yet in Scripture, the horse carries deeper symbolism. In the Book of Revelation, it is depicted as embodying military might, reflecting how secular power will ultimately be surpassed by God’s glory during the final judgement. We give thanks for the Lord’s reminder, teaching us not to place our trust in worldly strength or power, but to fix our faith and reliance upon God. Only under His guidance can we find true reliance and strength. In the new year, let us face life’s challenges with hearts full of gratitude, relying on God’s guidance. Together, let us grow, intercede with one another, and offer mutual support.
We sincerely invite you to join us in the ‘Action for Love Donation 2026’ on this joyous occasion of the Lunar New Year by donating a portion of your red pocket money to support the work of CMVIP in continuing to extend care and blessings to the visually impaired!
Ministry Needs and Prayers:
1.Please pray for the CMVIP’s plans over the next three years, asking the Lord to clarify our direction in supporting those with visual impairments.
2.Please pray for our brothers and sisters with visual impairments in Hong Kong and elsewhere, asking our Heavenly Father to grant them access to CMVIP’s resources and to arrange for various individuals to support their needs.
3.Please pray for the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of our co-workers, asking our Heavenly Father to grant them the strength and peace they need, enabling us to continue serving faithfully in our work.
4.Please pray for the Fuk Kwong Fellowship’s outing on 7 March 2026. May God provide favourable weather and a time of blessed fellowship, enabling us all to enjoy and bear witness to His marvellous creation.
5.Please pray for the Church Heritage Tour scheduled for 26 March 2026. It is hoped that through the speaker’s sharing, visually impaired participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Church’s ministry throughout the years and discern God’s purpose for this land.
6.We thank the Lord that CMVIP Magazine has received funding from the CWM / Nethersole Fund. We pray that our Heavenly Father will use this as a tool to help the visually impaired to take deeper root through the sharing of pastors, features, books and information from the church.
