April Newsletter

Dear Brothers, Sisters and Volunteers :

`I will give thanks to Thee for the marvellous and fearful thing which I have been made. Marvellous are thy works, which my heart knoweth well.’ (Psalm 139:14)

CMVIP has moved to the temporary office in San Po Kong on 11 March. For our co-workers, it is like a ‘dream’ to sit quietly in the temporary office after the hectic period from the end of February to March. There are also 21 places in the Bible that relate to dreams. In the Old Testament, Joseph and Daniel received and interpreted God’s revelations through dreams, demonstrating the importance of dreams in God’s plan. Today, through `dreaming’ , our Heavenly Father teaches us to have more faith in God in the ministry of CMVIP, to serve the visually impaired with love, and to be His instrument to bring blessings to more people.

Praise God! CMVIP has been authorised by the Hong Kong Bible Conference to log the recorded sermons of the 45th to 78th Sermons into the CMVIP VOICE app for our members to listen to, may God edify and strengthen the spiritual life of the visually impaired believers through His Word.

Ministry needs and remembrance in Prayer:

1.Please pray for the renovation funds for CMVIP. The 2025 Walkathon raised a total of $530,000, and we thank our Heavenly Father for the many loving brothers and sisters who often remember CMVIP in their prayers. After packing up and moving things out, we found that the areas we wanted to keep had been broken serously, so now we need to raise more fund for the renovation. Although the money we have raised is still a long way from our goal, we believe that our Heavenly Father will provide for CMVIP.

2.Please pray for CMVIP’s renovation. CMVIP has hand in the application for renovation, but there has been no reply after a long time, please pray for this matter.

3.Please pray that our visually impaired members will make good use of the CMVIP VOICE app for their daily reading of the Bible, spiritual books or devotionals, and pray that the Lord will help them to develop a habit of consistent reading.

4.Please pray for CMVIP’s hotline service. There have been numerous technical problems with the relocation of the hotline phone line, so please pray that our Heavenly Father will give us clear ideas and effective solutions so that the hotline can operate smoothly..

5.Please pray for the use of TEXT TO SPEECH (TTS) and ask our Heavenly Father to increase the wisdom and ability of our visually impaired co-workers to use this tool successfully.

6.Please pray for the accounts department’s upcoming year-end audit, and that the Lord will give us wisdom and insight to handle each piece of data and reporting appropriately.

May the mercies of the Lord always be with you!
